Jayvaughn Peter
Hey y’all!
My name is Jayvaughn. I am a Pohnpeian/Mwoakillese scholar from central Texas. Here at Purdue University, I am currently a doctoral student in the curriculum studies department as part of the ecological sciences and engineering interdisciplinary graduate program. My overarching research has two converging foci: the ecological sustaining of the islands of Pohnpei and the survivance of cultural knowledge and practices of Pohnpeians. With the Alab, I am particularly interested in making visible the various relations and tensions that arise in my work.
